Dr. Minh's Background
Dr. Nguyen originally pursued a creative life of fine art and illustration. After receiving a bachelor of fine arts in 2013 from St. John’s University, he continued to pursue his passion for helping people by studying at New York Chiropractic College where he received his doctorate in Chiropractic. While attending school at New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Nguyen was introduced to Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and immediately fell in love with the art. He felt that Chiropractic and Acupuncture are two sides of the same coin because together, Chiropractic and Acupuncture can help patients achieve greater results. He believes that an integrative approach and patient education are keys to a patient’s recovery and can be achieved by treating not only the physical body but the emotional, mental and spiritual bodies as well. Chronic disease responds best to treatment when the Body, Mind, & Spirit are all addressed.
He is also a Board licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in the State of New Jersey, and is a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (Dipl. OM), certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He is certified in Clean Needle Technique by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM).
Dr. Nguyen now resides in Fair Lawn, where he grew up when coming to the United States. In his free time, he still enjoys drawing, painting, sculpting, and hiking.
